Success at Harvey Ag

College students Karel Foster, Morgan Smith, Luke Pratt, Trenten Gault and Jack Saunders enjoying SuccessMaker.

Year 10 students at the WA College of Agriculture Harvey have recently delved into the wonderful world of SuccessMaker. There are 17 male students in the group, from varying backgrounds, and they have been eagerly spending their English lessons honing their literacy and numeracy skills. The College, currently, has only 5 licences for SuccessMaker, but if the tussling and jostling of the students to use it is any indication, it is a roaring success. The boys approach their SuccessMaker time with enthusiasm and are always keen to be the first 5 to log on. In fact, it is often difficult to get them to log off and let someone else have a go! Two boys have even started a competition to see who can get through the initial phase first. This healthy sense of competition is spurring the students to strive to achieve and reflects the positive attitude of all the students to the SuccessMaker program.
